### **AI Agent Overview**

AI Agents are a foundational component of the Drift Derby NFT ecosystem. Each NFT car functions as both a player-controlled vehicle and an autonomous AI Agent, giving owners the flexibility to race manually or stake their car in AI Races and Tournaments for passive earnings.

AI Agents are trained on real player behaviour, meaning that over time an agent will mirror its owner's driving style, decision-making, and competitive instincts. The quality of training directly influences agent performance and by extension, earning potential.

#### **AI Training Mechanism**

When an NFT car is minted, it is assigned a set number of training slots (*default: 10, subject to change*). These slots are filled with race data selected from a player's race history, forming the behavioural foundation of the AI Agent. Once all training slots are filled, the car becomes eligible to compete in AI Races and Tournaments.

Players have full control over which races are used to train their agent. Should a player wish to replace existing training data, they may do so at any time for a cost in $MIXPIX, with a retraining period applied before the updated agent is eligible to compete.

#### **AI Trainer Rental**

Players who wish to train their agent beyond their own skill ceiling can rent their NFT car to verified high-ranking players for training purposes. Trainers are listed in a dedicated in-game marketplace, where clients can evaluate and select candidates based on skill ranking, pricing, and player reviews.

Training contracts are governed by smart contracts. Upon completion and on-chain verification or after 72 hours, whichever comes first the NFT is automatically returned to its owner. If a trainer fails to complete the contract within the allotted time, the NFT is returned at no cost to the owner. All funds are held in escrow within the smart contract until the training contract concludes.

#### **Becoming an AI Trainer**

To list as an AI Trainer, players must meet a minimum ranked threshold and have completed at least 20 ranked races (*subject to change*). This requirement acts as a barrier against bots and bad actors, ensuring that only legitimate, experienced players can offer training services.

Trainers manage their availability and pricing through a dedicated training UI within the game. Pricing is set per training slot, allowing high-ranking players to charge a premium commensurate with their skill level — the market determines each trainer's value.

All training data is immutably recorded on-chain and baked directly into the NFT metadata, exposing verifiable stats including ranked rating, race placement, lap time, and trainer details. This ensures full transparency and accountability across every training contract.

#### **Trainer Reputation & Accountability**

Upon contract completion, clients may leave a rating out of five stars along with a written review. Trainer ratings are publicly visible and form a key part of how clients evaluate prospective trainers.

Any trainer whose rating falls below 4 stars will be suspended from offering training services pending review by a Drift Derby representative. This system is designed to maintain a high standard of service across the training marketplace and protect players from underperforming or dishonest trainers.

### **AI Agent Races & Tournaments**

Drift Derby NFT cars are more than digital collectibles, they are active participants in a play-to-earn ecosystem powered by AI agents. By entering their NFT cars into AI Races and Tournaments, players can generate passive income without active gameplay, simply by staking their assets and letting their agents compete.

When an NFT car is submitted to a race or tournament, it is staked for the duration of the event and cannot be used elsewhere until competition concludes. All races are streamed live on the Drift Derby platform, giving players real-time visibility into their agents' performance.

#### **AI Races**

AI Races run multiple times daily, providing consistent earning opportunities for players. Each player may enter one NFT car per race within a 24-hour window. Races are tiered by entry fee and reward pool, allowing players to calibrate their participation based on personal risk-reward preferences. Rewards are distributed in Turbo Tokens and $MIXPIX.

AI Tournaments span multiple races and offer significantly larger prize pools than standard races. Players may enter multiple NFT cars into a single tournament, increasing their chances of claiming top rewards. Tournament structures are designed to reward strategic asset deployment and sustained performance across rounds.
